What's the production process of Plywood

Plywood is one of the three major artificial boards. Plywood is a three-layer or multi-layer plate-like material formed by rotating wood segments into veneers or slicing wood into thin wood, and then gluing with adhesives, which can greatly improve the utilization rate of wood.

Plywood has good stability, high hardness, high temperature resistance, good moisture resistance, rich texture and close to nature, and low price. It is an excellent choice for building furniture and building decoration.

The production process is shown as below:

Among them, what we need to pay attention to is that the longer the stain stays on the surface of the plywood, the deeper it is immersed in the plywood, and the darker the color will be. The longer the stain stays on the surface, the darker the color will indeed become. But this is not because the dye is immersed deeper, but because the volatilization of the diluent causes the proportion of dye in it to increase. The ratio of a higher concentration of stain (pigment, dye, or pigment and dye) to solvent determines the depth to which plywood will produce a darker stain. The Pratt-Lambert Wood Stain and the Minway Walnut Stain were used—one coat on the inside and two coats on the outside. The middle area remains unstained. Both are pigment-dye mixed stains, but the ratio of the stain to the solvent is different, and the difference in the plywood produced by the different ratio of the stain is obvious.
