The 6th China International Import Expo opens successfully

With the theme of "New Era, Shared Future", the 6th China International Import Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, opened in Shanghai. 69 countries, including developed, developing and underdeveloped countries, and 3 international organizations participated. The exhibition covers six major fields, including food and agricultural products, automobiles, woodworking machinery and equipment, medical equipment, and medicine and health care. Through offline displays and interactive experiences, interesting content such as technological innovation, industrial efficiency, and investment environment in various countries will be displayed. Other fields will be displayed at close range. 

On November 5, President Xi Jinping sent a letter to the Sixth China International Import Expo, pointing out that since 2018, the CIIE has been successfully held for five times. As a platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchanges, and open cooperation, the CIIE has made positive contributions to accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and promoting development. Better provision of international public goods and services shared globally will help promote the development of an open world economy, achieve mutually beneficial cooperation, and benefit the world.

With the continuous development of science and technology, new technologies, new materials, and new processes are constantly emerging. The gap between the level of China's woodworking machinery and equipment and that of foreign countries will become smaller and smaller, and international advanced technology and equipment will continue to pour in. For Chinese woodworking machinery, challenges and opportunities coexist. The development of electronic technology, digital control technology, laser technology, and high-pressure jet technology has brought new vitality to the automation, flexibility, intelligence, and integration of furniture machinery, causing the variety of machine tools to continue to increase and the technical level to continue to improve.
