Functions Of A Veneer Peeling Machine

1. Log feeding and centering:

The machine comes with devices to position and align the log or timber prior to going through the peeling process. This guarantees that the veneer sheets are consistently and precisely cut.

2. Rotary cutting mechanism:

The main component of the veneer peeling machine is the rotary cutting mechanism, comprised of a sharp blade or knife that peels a continuous sheet of veneer from the log while it spins. Based on the machine's settings, the thickness of the veneer can be modified.

3. Log clamping and rotation:

The log is firmly fastened in place and turned towards the cutting edge in order to create a consistent and unbroken layer of veneer. Controlling the speed and direction of rotation can help achieve the preferred thickness and quality of the veneer.

The log on the spindle less peeling machine is driven by a friction roller to make a rotary motion, and the motor pushes the screw to rotate so that the peeling knife advances or retreats linearly.

What Do You Know About Hydraulic Veneer Peeling Machine?

1. The gears must be properly lubricated to increase the durability of the machine.

2. Check all instruments, limit switches and limit stop installation conditions, and make sure everything is normal.

3. The machine tool accessories should be carried out regularly before starting; ensure that the indicating instrument and motor are in operation after activation; make the machine run smoothly, with low noise and long life, and should be alert to abnormal vibration and equipment noise.

4. First of all, we must remove the big knots in the wood, reduce the amount of feed and adjust the speed of the machine. When we rotate and cut the big knots, it will weaken the vibration of the knife holder.

5. Minimize the use of large wood peeling machines to remove rough wood and small-diameter peeling to avoid wear and mechanical damage.

6. Clean the machine after get off work, wipe cotton cloth and sawdust with a knife, pressure gauge, screws, and all parts of the axle to prevent corrosion.

In order to maintain efficiency, the machine needs regular maintenance (inspection, repair, overhaul), and timely replacement of worn or damaged feed screws, nuts, carding machine shafts and sleeves. Remove dust and small debris in time.
